Village has linear structure, was formed along the Kamaja riverbed, which replicates the village. The village was mentioned in historical sources in 1716, because it belonged to the manor of Dysna. During the World War I the village was destroyed and rebuilt in 1920. Till this day only 4 house left in the village.
