Didžiasalis Village

Ethnographical village that is characterized by street or linear structure. In 1971 village became ethno-cultural reserve, where 42 house buildings, and has 25 monumental buildings are protected to this day. The village was built in the middle of XVIth century and from that time it belonged to the Zablatiškė Manor. In 1940 and 1944 fire destroyed most of the rural buildings.
