Ignalina is the most eastern part of Lithuania, washed by hundreds of lakes and surrounded by boundless forests. Travel where the sun is rising and discover a different Ignalina - ethnographic villages reminiscent of the past, places of remembrance of the countrymen who created independent Lithuania and tragic post-war events, resurrected centuries-old mansions.
The total length of the route is 120 km. Part of the route goes on asphalt roads, part - on gravel roads.
The route goes through the border stretch, so be sure to have ID!
